Rotary - an International Club with Local Community Ties

The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life.

Recognizing the importance of developing and cultivating relationships opens up the possibility to be of service to the community.  Rotarians are active partners in their community, ready and willing to answer the call to be of service.

Whether it be organizing and assisting community-wide clean-up efforts in the spring (Community Pride), promoting education (through donations of dictionaries to 3rd grade students or awarding scholarships to graduating seniors), or supporting families in need (by purchasing and delivering Christmas gifts), your local Rotary Club is there to lend a hand.

Rotarians also value the advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace.  Your local Rotary Club not only offers opportunities to serve on international projects, but supports an active Youth Exchange Program.  Hosting two in-bound and placing two out-bound students annually connects the club, and the White Salmon-Bingen community, with people and cultures around the globe.

Working together, connecting with people in business and community, leads to better relationships locally and globally.
